Mission Statement: The mission of the Tribal Scholarship Program is to assist in advancing knowledge in the form of higher education, to enrolled tribal members.  This assistance is in the form of financial aid, including adequate financial aid packages, packages that allow our students to meet their basic necessities as college students.  To provide additional service, such as academic and career counseling,  and college selection , relevant to the higher education, economy, and quality of life for the citizens of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa.

Program Goals and Objectives:


The main goal of the Tribal Scholarship Program is to assist members of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa to earn a higher education and to improve their quality of life by earning a formal education, in areas of tribal and community need.


Procedures to be eligible for Services:


There is an application process for services from the Tribal Scholarship Program.  There is a Tribal Scholarship Board appointed by the Tribal Governing Body to assist with making selections, hearing appeals, and affecting program policy.


Student files must be compete with proper documents in place in order to be considered for funding through the Tribal Scholarship Program.
